In this short interview with outside center for WWU’s men’s rugby team Nathan Mathis, we get some insight into his involvement with the team and an inside look at how the season is going.
Nathan is double-majoring in PE and Kinesiology and is currently running the rugby team’s warm-ups and giving strength and conditioning advice during a coach’s absence. Despite recent game cancellations and delays, Nathan says that the season is looking good and they still have a full schedule playing Oregon and UW.
Nathan also mentions that alumni are a huge support to the team and their attendance at games and banquets is greatly appreciated.
